This project was a fun process. This was another project from my junior year, fall semester at Herron for Photographic Processes. The project was called Time Magic and had us experiment with shutter speed, aperture, and lighting. This was a simple picture that manipulated shutter speed and aperture to capture my Christmas tree and all the lights that were strung on it to make the lights look like they were dancing. Even though I didn’t choose this as part of the final photos to be submitted for the project I felt this was a very overlooked picture that I’m proud of for its emphasis of the swirls that the lights caused in the picture to create a visually interesting picture. Overall, I am very proud of this project and would like to explore this further at some point.
