This project was fun from start to finish. The premise of this project was to experiment with lighting of a subject/model and doing so while focusing on a type of privilege that people have. For this project I asked if my close friend would want to be a model for my vision for the project as she would be a perfect model for this. She agreed. For this project I was capturing aging privilege as not many people get the privilege to age whether it be reasons such as not having access to proper health care, not having financial stability, or just poor health overall. I adjusted my camera and lighting to capture and emphasize the lines on her skin and the tones and overall color of her hair which captures her history and tells her story.
