This project appealed to my scientific interest and combined it with art. This was a group project done with Corrin Larson, Megan Schoen, and Jasmine Cortez during my junior year, fall semester Photographic Processes class. The purpose of this project was we partnered with the biomedical department and used their ultrasound machines to take ultrasounds of random objects that could be submerged in a pool of water. The images our group created which I created my own digital version of were of crumpled up aluminum foil and a seashell. I was later informed by my professor that these 2 particular works were on display at the IUPUI Campus Center Gallery. I was then informed in the fall of 2022 that these works would be on display at the Radiological Society of North America’s 108th Annual Conference in Chicago at McCormicks Place for medial professionals and vendors to see from November 27th-December 1st.
